Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
TODO(legal + client) — the previous policy said "We do not issue refunds for non-tangible irrevocable goods once the order is confirmed" and was written for a different business entirely. It said nothing about class fees, missed sessions or withdrawal — the things parents actually ask about. This needs writing from scratch.
1. Free demo class
The demo class is free. There is nothing to pay and nothing to refund.
2. Cancelling or rescheduling a class
TODO(client): how much notice is required to reschedule? Is a missed class made up, credited, or forfeited? Does it differ for 1-1 versus group?
3. Withdrawing from a course
TODO(client): if a student withdraws mid-term, what is refunded? Pro-rata on remaining sessions, or a fixed schedule? Is there a cooling-off period after enrolment?
4. Classes cancelled by us
If we cancel a scheduled class, we will either reschedule it at a time that suits you or credit the session back to your account.
5. Digital resources
TODO(client): recorded courses, topical papers and downloadable material. Because these are delivered immediately, a no-refund-after-access rule is normal — but it must be stated clearly before purchase, not after.
6. How to request a refund
TODO(legal): the request route, and the timeline for acknowledgement and resolution. Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 complaints must be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month.
7. How refunds are paid
TODO(client): refunds to the original payment method, and expected processing time.
